Look, this is simple and there's no small print. La Vieya Asturies makes a comic-satirical fanzine in Asturian and gives it away for free — no payment, no subscription, no catch. But this isn't just entertainment: we speak Asturian because nobody else does it with the same nerve, and we go after whoever needs going after because this land likes being told things straight. That costs money: printing, distributing, holding on.
This shop is how it gets paid for. Every t-shirt, hoodie or mug you buy here isn't just "merch" — it's what keeps Asturian alive outside of textbooks, and gets La Vieya's next jab to whoever wants to read it, without them paying a cent for it. We're not asking for charity for some abstract cause: you're buying something real, made to order, that also sustains a language and a way of saying things that exists nowhere else.
