Why do you ask for a NIF/NIE/CIF to buy?

We need it to issue your invoice — it's required by Spanish law, not something we made up.

Depending on your situation:

• NIF: if you're an individual with a Spanish DNI.
• NIE: if you're a foreign resident in Spain, without a DNI.
• CIF: if you're buying on behalf of a company, not as an individual.

The system checks the format and control digit before accepting the order — if you make a typo, we tell you right away, instead of you finding out once you've reached payment.

By default we use the same address you entered for shipping as the billing address, but if you need the invoice sent to a different address, there's an option to set that in the same step, without filling everything in twice.
