We ship to mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands — same price, no surcharge or surprises on rate or timing.

No surcharge. No surprises.
What about outside Spain?
Not yet to the Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla, and it's not laziness:
VAT isn't the same there
the Canary Islands has its own tax (IGIC), and Ceuta/Melilla don't apply VAT at all — our system still only calculates the mainland rate correctly.
Customs
even though they're Spain, there's a real customs process there, and we haven't sorted that out yet.
Different tax paperwork
invoicing correctly there is a whole different calculation, not just swapping a number.
Better to get it right than get it wrong
we'd rather open up once it's sorted than send you an order with a badly done invoice.
And outside Spain, we're not even thinking about it yet — one step at a time. La Vieya is Asturian through and through, but that doesn't mean we want to stay small forever: when it's sorted, the people following the shop will hear about it first.
