Sizing and fabric

How is the design printed on the garment?

Three real techniques

1

Direct-to-garment printing (DTG)

DTG printer printing the La Vieya design straight onto a black t-shirt
  • ink is printed straight onto the fabric, like a regular printer but for textiles.
  • It performs best on pure cotton and gives a soft finish you barely feel.
2

DTFlex (transfer)

Applying a DTFlex transfer of the La Vieya design onto a black hoodie with a heat press
  • the design is printed onto a film first, then transferred onto the garment with heat and pressure.
  • Clean-edge finish with no visible glue, richer colours, and it works well on more fabric types (cotton, polyester, fleece) than DTG.
3

Embroidery

Industrial embroidery machine stitching the La Vieya design onto a green cap
  • the design is stitched straight into the fabric with thread, giving a textured, raised finish — used on the cap, not on t-shirts/hoodies.

Each product page states the actual technique used for that specific piece.
